Job Overview

The Sales Development Academy is MLSE's comprehensive entry-level sales program focused on developing top-tier sales talent and future leaders. As a key member of the ticketing department, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue across all six MLSE sports brands while serving as a succession system for vacant full-time positions.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Sales Development Academy to spearhead the ticketing departments' people development efforts. This includes hiring, training, and leading a dedicated group of Sales Academy associates to achieve desired revenue results. You will also be responsible for executing, adapting, and evolving the training program for the hourly sales team to meet fiscal sales targets consistently.

Main Responsibilities
  • Mentor a team of part-time sales associates to develop their sales skills and support annual revenue targets.
  • Plan and execute bi-annual hiring campaigns based on program needs and brand requirements.
  • Develop and execute a robust onboarding and training program for new hires.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Sales Development Academy, including weekly meetings, call blitzes, and monthly recognition campaigns.
  • Provide role-specific training enabling participants to acquire applicable skills based on brands and products.
  • Build and execute quarterly and annual business plans guiding day-to-day ticket sales efforts, including prospect pipeline management and sales targets.
  • Support sales reps in achieving revenue targets by supervising efficiency levels and assessing performance quarterly.
  • Mentor the Assistant Manager, Sales Development Academy, to develop people leadership skills.
Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of coaching and developing culture within a team. The ideal candidate will have experience using Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite, empathy to inspire team members, great communication and collaboration skills, time and people management abilities, and motivation for success.

Additional Information

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
