Job Title: Extruder Operator

Join All Season Fencing Ltd as an Extruder Operator and be part of our team responsible for producing high-quality plastic products. As an Extruder Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our extrusion machines to produce plastic compounds of specific consistency and viscosity. Your tasks will include:
  • Monitoring and inspecting the quality of material produced
  • Placing weighed materials in mixing machines
  • Operating mixing machines to blend plastic and other chemicals
  • Unloading mixture into containers or conveyors for further processing
  • Packing items for shipping and distribution
  • Setting up and operating extruding machines to extrude plastic compounds
  • Changing dies on extruding machines according to production line changes
  • Setting up and operating moulding machines to mould plastic products
  • Preparing and changing moulds and adjusting equipment for production line changes
  • Trimming and sanding plastic or fiberglass parts
  • Ensuring a safe working environment
  • Maintaining accurate records of production and quality control
  • Collaborating with the production team to achieve production goals


Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work site environment: Dusty, Noisy
  • Physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail, Handling heavy loads, Hand-eye co-ordination, Fast-paced environment, Physically demanding, Standing for extended periods
  • Personal suitability: Accurate, Dependability, Organized, Reliability, Team player
  • Transportation: Own transportation
