This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping and be proficient in accounting software. Additionally, they will possess excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
