Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team on a 6-month contract-to-permanent position at Fraser Health's Facilities Management/Planning & Projects portfolio. As a key member of the team, you will lead important projects that require administrative and client collaboration skills in a dynamic environment.

Your background in project management will enable you to plan, design, and construct various healthcare infrastructure and facilities projects. You will work closely with dedicated professionals who thrive in a collaborative culture, promoting learning, customer service, stewardship, communication, and performance.

The role will initially be fully in-office for three months, with potential for a hybrid schedule following a performance assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead medium-sized projects within the Facilities Management/Planning & Projects portfolio.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Evaluate project progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience as a Project Coordinator in commercial, industrial, or institutional projects, preferably Tenant Improvement projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in a construction or project management-related field.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation.
