Key Responsibilities:
- Install and test fire alarm systems to ensure they meet industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Modify and upgrade fire alarm systems as needed to ensure they remain effective.
- Program and configure fire alarm systems to meet specific customer requirements.
- Troubleshoot and repair fire alarm systems to resolve issues and ensure continuity of service.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2+ years' experience in fire alarm system installation, inspection, and maintenance.
- College/trade level education in Electronics or Fire Protection Technology.
- Applicable fire service certifications, jurisdictional regulatory permits, and/or valid CFAA and ASTTBC.
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with fire alarm system design and installation.
- Knowledge of fire alarm system codes and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
