We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpentry Supervisor to join our team at WILMAC CONSTRUCTION INC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our carpentry crew, ensuring projects are completed on time, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of carpenters and apprentices, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Prepare and review production reports, identifying areas for improvement and implementing measures to increase productivity and product quality.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities, including material requisitioning and equipment setup.
  • Oversee apprenticeship training and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules, read blueprints and drawings, and requisition materials and supplies.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate and relevant certifications (e.g., Carpenter Trade Certification, Red Seal Certificate).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other necessary personal protective equipment.
