Technical Requirements Engineer

A talented Technical Requirements Engineer is sought to join our team at CAE Inc. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our training solutions meet the customers' needs.
In this position, you will work closely with technical leaders, domain experts, proposal teams, project management teams, and other stakeholders to define and review project requirements. Your expertise will be essential in guaranteeing that all requirements are clear, complete, verifiable, and achievable.
You will also collaborate with training solutions experts to validate that the technical requirements for training devices or systems deliver value-added training and meet customer objectives. Additionally, you will work with the Proposal and Project Experts to ensure that requirements-driven risks are well understood and integrated into project planning, monitoring, and controlling activities.
- Define and/or review project and customer requirements for training devices and systems.
- Collaborate with various technical experts to ensure clarity, completeness, verifiability, and achievability of requirements.
- Validate technical requirements for training devices or systems to ensure they deliver value-added training and meet customer objectives.
- Work with the Proposal and Project Experts to integrate requirements-driven risks into project planning, monitoring, and controlling activities.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Sciences.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in aerospace or simulation and training systems design and development.
- Knowledge of systems analysis and design aspects, particularly requirements engineering methods and tools.
- Excellent English language skills (spoken and written).
- Good analytical, planning, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Experience as a Project Expert or Verification & Validation specialist, an asset.
- Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
