Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at IMP Aerostructures. As a key member of our industrial operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of complex mechanical systems.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical maintenance, with experience in supervising teams and coordinating projects. You will be expected to work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations and maintain high levels of productivity.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise a team of 3-4 maintenance technicians and ensure they have the necessary tools and resources to complete tasks efficiently.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve work problems and improve productivity.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Diploma or certificate in a relevant trade (e.g. millwright, industrial mechanic).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
