Dining Services Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Dining Services Manager to join our team at Kujira Sushi Bar and Grill. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food preparation staff.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Direct the activities of staff members who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality service and adhering to strict sanitation and safety standards.
- Training and Development: Provide training to staff on job duties, sanitation procedures, and customer service skills, enhancing their performance and overall dining experience.
- Inventory Management: Accurately estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory levels.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all food and services meet our rigorous quality control standards, guaranteeing an exceptional customer experience.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning and optimization.
- Assembly and Delivery: Supervise the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring timely and efficient service to our customers.
- Education: A college diploma, CEGEP certificate, or equivalent non-university certification from a 1-2 year program.
- Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of food preparation, customer service, and inventory management.

- Permanent Position: This is a permanent role with a fixed schedule, offering stability and security.
- English Language: Fluency in English is required, as you will be working closely with our international team and communicating with customers.
- Hours of Operation: You will work 40 hours per week, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.
The estimated annual salary for this position is between $50,000 and $65,000, depending on your qualifications and experience.
