About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Damso Modern Korean Cuisine. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of Korean dishes, including soups, stews, and stir-fries.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining attention to detail and a high level of organization.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a Korean restaurant.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
