Chef Job Description

Birmingham's Vodka and Ale House is seeking a skilled Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Staff Training: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet our culinary needs.

Requirements: We are looking for a Chef with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role, who is able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and who is committed to delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service.

Working Hours: The successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.

Language: The language of work is English.
