Chef Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Chef to join our team at Viet-Thai Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Manage kitchen operations
Requirements:
  • Safe Food Handling certificate
  • Food Safety Certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Work under pressure
Personal Qualities:
  • Organized
  • Team player
