Construction Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Construction Supervisor to join our team at Maple Leaf Construction. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects, supervising workers, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of construction workers, promoting a safe and productive work environment.
- Coordinate and schedule activities, including material procurement and equipment maintenance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations, promoting diversity and inclusion.
- Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against visible minorities, promoting a fair and equitable work environment.
- Work closely with the management team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance project outcomes.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in construction or a related field.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
