Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Laboratory Scientist to join our Core Lab team in Kelowna, BC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch clinical and scientific quality results using cutting-edge technology.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine testing duties within Chemistry and Hematology, including analyzer maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting
  • Ensure sample identification is correct and specimen requirements are met according to established procedures
  • Record, interpret, and/or approve test results
  • Identify and report incidents and non-conformities
Requirements:
  • CSMLS Registration as a practicing Medical Laboratory Technologist in good standing
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook at an intermediate level
  • Solid ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide recommendations for resolution
  • Working experience in the Chemistry or Hematology field (nice to have)

Compensation:

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $34.00 per hour, reflecting the complexity of the position and the qualifications required. This compensation package is designed to attract and retain top talent in the field.
