Job Title: Landscaping Labourer

Island Green Landscaping Services is seeking a reliable and hardworking Landscaping Labourer to join our team. As a Landscaping Labourer, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and health of our clients' outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain their appearance and health.
  • Cut grass and other vegetation to maintain a neat and tidy appearance.
  • Rake and collect refuse to keep the work site clean and safe.
  • Remove litter and garbage to ensure a clean and healthy environment.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials to prepare the ground for planting.
  • Lay sod or seed to create a lush and vibrant lawn.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to add color and beauty to the outdoor space.
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
Work Environment:

As a Landscaping Labourer, you will be working outdoors in a variety of settings, including sports fields, urban areas, rural areas, and private residences. You will be exposed to wet/damp conditions, noise, and hot temperatures.

Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, organized, reliability, and team player are essential qualities for this role.
  • Work Term: Seasonal.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
