Job Summary

Agnico Eagle is seeking a skilled Drill Mechanic to join our Maintenance Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our mobile mining equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular maintenance and inspections on mobile mining equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on drilling equipment, including Epiroc DML & DM45.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with A/C, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure all work is completed in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to Agnico Eagle's Health & Safety Code of Conduct.
  • Participate in continuous learning and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices.

Requirements

  • College Diploma in Mechanical Technology or Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
  • Red Seal certification is considered an asset.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a mobile equipment drill mechanic.
  • Experience with drilling equipment, such as Epiroc DML & DM45, is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of A/C, hydraulic, and electrical systems, including 12/24 volts troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of diagnostic software tools is preferred.
