Job Title: Autism Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Autism Support Worker to join our team at Edlen Household. As a key member of our care team, you will provide essential support and care to individuals with autism, enabling them to live fulfilling and independent lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
  • Support clients in regular exercise and physical activity, such as walking
  • Launder clothing and household linens, and perform light housekeeping duties
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits
  • Engage clients in activities that promote socialization and cognitive development, such as storytelling, teaching songs, and crafts
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience working with individuals with autism or intellectual disabilities
  • Ability to provide companionship and emotional support
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
