Master Craftsman

Job Summary:

This is a leadership role for a skilled carpenter with experience in supervising teams and overseeing projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

As a Master Craftsman - Carpenter Team Lead at BG Custom Homes Limited, you will be responsible for leading a team of skilled carpenters on various construction projects. You will oversee the installation of cabinets, trim work, and other finishing elements, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard.

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, organized, and able to prioritize tasks effectively. You will also need to be able to communicate clearly with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure that their expectations are met.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of skilled carpenters on construction projects
• Oversight of installation of cabinets, trim work, and other finishing elements
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard
• Communicate with clients, architects, and engineers to meet their expectations
• Prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a carpenter or in a related field
• Strong background in carpentry, including cabinetmaking and trim work
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Valid driver's license and own vehicle
