Logistics Transportation Specialist

Overview
beBee Professionals in Kamloops is seeking an experienced truck driver to transport goods efficiently and safely across regional routes. This role requires a responsible individual who can ensure timely deliveries, maintain the condition of their vehicle, and adhere to all traffic regulations.
Compensation Package
The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, with additional mileage-based bonuses. Comprehensive health insurance and retirement benefits are also provided.
Job Description
The ideal candidate will have valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with a clean driving record and proven experience as a truck driver or in a similar role. They should have knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations, as well as the ability to work independently and meet delivery deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a truck to transport goods to and from specified locations
- Perform vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs
- Ensure cargo is properly loaded, secured, and unloaded
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and travel routes
Requirements and Qualifications
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a truck driver or in a similar role
- Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- Ability to work independently and meet delivery deadlines
