About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled General Supervisor to join our team at YYC FLOORING SOLUTIONS. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our production department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit regular production reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Technical Guidance and Support
    • Provide technical advice and guidance to production staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
    • Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Staffing and Training
    • Recruit, hire, and train new staff members to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed and implemented within the production department.
  • Logistics and Supply Chain
    • Requisition materials and supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations.
  • Team Management
    • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of production staff to meet work schedules and deadlines.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
