Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Cashier to join our team at Highland Farms. As a Head Cashier, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales floor, managing cash handling, and supervising a team of sales workers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign sales workers to duties
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
- Order merchandise
- Authorize return of merchandise
- Establish work schedules
- Sell merchandise
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
- Manage cash
Requirements:
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment:
- On-site work only
- No remote work option
