Imperial Capital Limited, a Toronto-based mid-market private equity firm with a 30-year history, is seeking a skilled Business Transformation Associate to join its Value Creation team. This exciting opportunity will be based in Toronto and involve collaborating closely with portfolio companies and the investment team.

The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a transformation role at a management consulting firm, or an equivalent PE operations position. They should possess an undergraduate degree and demonstrate knowledge in business transformation efforts.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Assisting in constructing value creation plans for new investments
  • Building relationships with portfolio company management teams to foster trust and demand for support
  • Identifying new value-enhancing opportunities, including performing financial impact analysis and working with stakeholders to evaluate feasibility and priority

Additional tasks may include directly implementing specific initiatives, providing regular progress updates, and ensuring successful realization of identified value creation opportunities. The ideal candidate will also lead or support cross-portfolio initiatives, such as codifying best practices, expanding the network of external functional advisors, and leveraging the scale of the portfolio for efficiencies.

The estimated salary range for this role is $120,000-$180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
