About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Affairs Analyst to join our team at Desjardins. As a key member of our legal affairs department, you will play a critical role in protecting the organization's legal interests and ensuring compliance with all laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis to provide opinions and recommendations on legal matters.
  • Client Support: Advise and assist clients on how to interpret and apply laws, regulations, standards, policies, and guidelines.
  • Data Analysis: Identify, input, analyze, and interpret data to inform management decision-making and monitor the application of management policies and practices.
  • Risk Analysis: Analyze risks and write reports, preparing recommendations and providing advice on how to implement them.
  • Policies and Procedures: Help develop, update, and implement policies, procedures, standards, and tools related to your line of work.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Professional Designation: Member of the Quebec Bar.
  • Language: Knowledge of French is required.
