About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical R&D Director to join our team at Fed Manutech. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for leading our R&D projects and ensuring the efficient management of our electrical engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage R&D projects and ensure timely completion
  • Develop and implement departmental procedures to improve efficiency
  • Oversee financial, scheduling, and strategic aspects of the department
  • Support technical teams in their day-to-day tasks to streamline processes
  • Coordinate internal teams to ensure smooth project closure
  • Follow up with customers and internal teams on project progress
  • Monitor technological and competitive developments
  • Supervise the electrical engineering team
  • Collaborate with all company departments

Requirements

  • 6-10 years' experience in an electrical engineering position as an engineer or manager
  • Experience in renewable energies is an asset
  • Experience with lithium battery products is an asset
  • Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary teams
  • Bilingual English/French
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
  • ING member OIQ
  • Salary: $110k - $130k depending on experience
  • Full insurance, RRSP, negotiable vacations
