Community Advisory Board Member

Marpole Neighbourhood House (MNH) is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Community Advisory Board. As a member, you will contribute to the development and implementation of community programs and services, ensuring they meet the needs of the Marpole community.
We are looking for individuals who share our values and are passionate about community building and place-making. If you have a connection to the Marpole community or can bring important perspectives, skills, and experiences, we encourage you to apply.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge or skills in communications, health, technology, or fund development. We also welcome applications from individuals who are members of or have experience working with diverse groups, including newcomers, youth, seniors, individuals with disabilities, and Indigenous peoples.
As a member of our Community Advisory Board, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the community. You will gain experience in community leadership, meet and connect with people from your community, and learn about neighbourhood houses and their role in healthy communities.
The Community Advisory Board meets once a month, with breaks in the summer and in December. If you are interested in making a positive impact in the Marpole community, please submit your application by the end of the day on May 17, 2024.
