Job Description:

Precise Builders Ltd. is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced professional who can work at heights, in noisy and dusty environments, and outdoors. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to instruct apprentices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare estimates of labour and material costs
  • Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
  • Survey building locations and levels
  • Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is around $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
