About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team at the Atikokan Sawmill. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply health and safety, environmental, and quality procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance personnel to maintain daily operations
  • Utilize the Maintenance Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to process work orders, schedules, and update equipment databases
  • Perform preventive maintenance and modify equipment as needed
  • Improve and optimize control, artificial vision, power, and servo systems
  • Respond to production calls during downtime
  • Communicate updates to supervisors to maintain goals

Requirements:

  • Industrial or construction electrical certification
  • 3-5 years of experience in a related industrial environment
  • Uncompromising approach to safety
  • Recognized relational skills and a preference for teamwork
  • Availability for 12-hour operational shift schedules
