Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Floral Long Term Care. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading our nursing team.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Intervention: Perform required skills according to guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Participate in interdisciplinary committees and influence or determine policies affecting nursing practice.
- Documentation and Reporting: Follow facility procedures for admitting residents, transferring to hospitals, and completing documentation.
- Medication Management: Count and ensure the counting of controlled drugs with outgoing and incoming shifts.
- Care Planning: Develop and implement care plans that demonstrate knowledge of criteria to ascertain resident-specific needs.
- Communication and Education: Interpret philosophy and objectives of nursing service to residents, families, and others.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Experience: Nursing experience with clinical competence and strong leadership skills.
- Citizenship: Must be a Canadian citizen.
Up to $45 an hour and an equal opportunity employer.
