About the Role

We're seeking an Actuarial Analyst to join our team for a 4-month co-op opportunity. As an Actuarial Analyst, you'll play a key role in analyzing statistical data, producing reports, and applying actuarial principles to drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and analyze statistical data to produce reports and insights
  • Participate in actuarial work teams, applying standard actuarial principles
  • Develop and maintain computer reports using various software and programming languages
  • Share knowledge and explain actuarial principles to peers

Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in actuarial sciences, mathematics, statistics, finance, or economics
  • Available to work for Summer (May to August)
  • Must be an actively enrolled student during the internship or returning to school in Fall or Winter following the internship
  • 1-2 CAS/SOA exams completed is considered an asset
  • Computer skills and good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Good analytical and synthesis skills
