The General Internal Medicine group at our hospital consists of five dedicated professionals who share a strong commitment to providing high-quality care. Our hospital boasts a full range of services, including Emergency Department, General Surgery, Obstetrics, and Anesthesia, making it an ideal setting for physicians who enjoy a diverse practice. You'll have the flexibility to manage your own schedule, with a 1:6 call rotation that allows for ample time off. Additionally, there are opportunities for outreach clinics in other regional facilities, supported by provincial funding through NITAOP and the RSLP.


One of the unique aspects of our practice is the lack of Internal Medicine subspecialists in our community, which means we have a broad scope of practice that caters to various patient needs. This presents an excellent opportunity for physicians to develop their skills in areas such as bronchoscopy, endoscopy, echocardiography, and more. We offer flexible locum opportunities through the NAVIG8 Emerging Physician Leaders Program, a comprehensive leadership development program designed to equip emerging medical leaders with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their careers. As part of our team, you'll have access to resources and support that will help you grow both professionally and personally.


To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A Doctorate in Medicine
  • Coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association is mandatory

The estimated salary for this position is around $250,000 per year, plus MOCAP level 1 benefits. On-call requirements include a 1:6 rotation.
