Senior Android Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Android Developer to join our dynamic mobile development team at FGF Brands. As a Senior Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture, design, and development of complex Android applications.
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to maintain high-quality coding standards.
  • Work closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend developers to implement new features and enhance existing ones.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, addressing performance bottlenecks and fixing bugs.
  • Write unit and instrumentation tests to ensure code robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring of Android applications.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for projects, ensuring clarity and comprehensibility.
  • Stay updated with the latest Android SDK, tools, and best practices, and apply them to improve development processes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Android development.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency in Kotlin and Java, experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, RESTful APIs, and third-party libraries.
  • Strong understanding of modern Android architecture components (MVVM, MVP) and experience with Clean Architecture.
  • Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • A strong portfolio of Android applications, preferably available on the Google Play Store.
