Magna International Inc. is seeking a highly skilled HR Coordinator to join our team. As an HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for administering full range of employee related services in the area of Human Resources. This includes providing customer service, maintaining and enhancing a positive employee relations environment, and ensuring timely communication between HR and other departments.
Your Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all phases of hourly recruitment, including temporary employees.
- Responsible for New Employee Human Resources Orientation.
- Address and resolve employee relation matters to ensure a timely resolution of HR actions/decision.
- Ensure communication between the HR and other departments is timely and complete.
- Coordination and management of hourly Performance appraisals.
- Administration of all new hires in the HRIS and Time and Attendance System.
- Development and maintenance of selected Policies and Procedures.
- Maintains Employee Data base and employee filing system.
- Maintains all Communication Boards (Traditional/Electronic).
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- College Diploma in Human Resources or equivalent in training.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Human Resources Department.
- Designation in Human Resources (CHRP) is an asset.
- Personal computer experience using Microsoft Word, Excel is required.
- The ability to analyze and solve issues and meet deadlines.
- The ability to interpret and apply Company policies to related events is mandatory.
