Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Plant Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Ya YA Foods Corp (RP0001). As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant equipment, performing routine maintenance work, and troubleshooting irregularities and malfunctions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, including constructing foundations, repairing or replacing defective parts, and fabricating parts required during overhaul or set-up.
  • Troubleshooting: Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in plant equipment, and estimate costs and materials for repairs.
  • Installation and Setup: Install and set up new machinery and equipment, and operate hoisting and lifting equipment as needed.
  • Supervision: Supervise other workers and coach and instruct apprentices in maintenance and repair techniques.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in plant equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding work environment, requiring handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
