Job Summary:

CSA Group is seeking a Product Safety Engineer to join our team in Toronto, Canada. As a Product Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for performing certification and understanding test methods on a variety of Industrial Control Devices to the requirements of Canadian and US standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices at all times.
  • Perform certification and testing on Industrial Control Devices.
  • Develop and implement test methods and procedures.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
  • Prepare and review certification reports and other documentation.
  • Participate in training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in industry or industrial control.
  • Knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and general laboratory procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with clients and internal stakeholders.
