Food Service Team Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tahini's. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that our kitchen is always well-stocked and ready to meet demand.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our quality control standards, maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
- Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports, as well as budget and cost estimates, to support informed decision-making.
- Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules, ensuring that our team is always adequately staffed and ready to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
Work Environment: Our fast-paced restaurant environment requires a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and physical activity. You must be able to work in a physically demanding environment, with a focus on attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
