Job Title: Plastering Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Plastering Specialist to join our team at Jagir Contracting Inc. As a Plastering Specialist, you will be responsible for applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster to create a smooth and even surface.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to walls and ceilings
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for plastering
  • Cure freshly plastered surfaces to ensure durability
  • Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency
  • Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim
  • Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings
  • Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces
  • Estimate costs and materials for plastering projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
