Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at QEH hospital services. As a Physiotherapy Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing physiotherapy services to patients, promoting understanding of our services, and participating in service planning and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities- Prioritize and manage your caseload effectively
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans
- Educate patients, caregivers, staff, and students on treatment plans and conditions
- Determine courses of care and make referrals as needed
- Implement skilled interventions and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Master's Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy
- Eligibility for licensing with the Prince Edward Island College of Physiotherapists
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team environment
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, eligible candidates will be entitled to HealthPEI Allied Health Services Incentives of up to $10,000 upon successful hiring.
