We are seeking a skilled and reliable Farm Laborer - Crop Specialist to join our team at 1388894 B.C. LTD. as a key member of our farm operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fertilizer Application: Apply fertilizers to crops to promote healthy growth and development.
  • Crop Maintenance: Clean the crops, cultivate on vertical farming systems, and perform other tasks to ensure optimal crop health.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate equipment such as seed drills and sprayers to plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Clean work areas, stables, barns, barnyards, and pens to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Crop Harvesting: Harvest crops at the optimal time to ensure maximum quality and yield.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn new skills is essential.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Experience with seed drills and sprayers is an asset.
  • Area of Specialization: Nursery or greenhouse experience is preferred.
  • Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) is required.
  • Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude are essential for success in this role.
Working Conditions
  • Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Hours of Work: 40 hours per week.
