Job Title: Farm Laborer

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Farm Laborer to join our team at Myers Organic Farms Inc. As a Farm Laborer, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to farming, including planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply the technique of hoeing between the row
  • Clean the crops
  • Cut agricultural crops
  • Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots
  • Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour and volume to fetch high price in market.
  • Greenhouse cleaning
  • Hand harvesting vegetables
  • Harvest seedlings
  • Pack fruits and vegetables
  • Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
  • Shear and shape trees and plants with knife
  • Sort fruits and vegetables
  • Weeding
  • Clean work area
  • Harvest crops
  • Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies and farm produce, livestock and poultry

Work Environment: The work environment is outdoors, with exposure to wet/damp, dusty, hot, and noisy conditions. You will be required to work in all weather conditions.
