Responsibilities:
  • Driver Behavior Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of driver behavior to ensure road safety and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Driver Coaching and Training: Provide coaching and training to drivers over the phone or in-person, focusing on behavior improvement and regulatory compliance.
  • High-Risk Driver Reporting: Identify and report high-risk drivers based on their behavior analysis, ensuring prompt action is taken to mitigate risks.
  • Weekly Reporting and Auditing: Prepare and submit weekly reports on driver coaching and training, as well as conduct audits on drivers' Hours of Service (HOS) to ensure compliance.
  • Dispatch and Driver Trainer Coordination: Collaborate with dispatch and driver trainers to ensure effective coaching and training programs are in place.
  • Video Retrieval and Claims Support: Process video retrieval requests from the claims team and provide support as needed.
  • Dashcam Vendor Management: Conduct weekly meetings with the dashcam vendor to address any existing issues and ensure optimal performance.
  • Shop Coordination and Technical Support: Coordinate with the shop to resolve any technical issues with dashcams and ensure timely repairs.
  • HOS Auditing and Support: Conduct audits on drivers' HOS and provide support on queries related to HOS.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Answer calls from drivers regarding maintenance issues with their equipment and coordinate with vendors for repairs.
  • Service Coordination and Communication: Coordinate and schedule service with vendors, providing accurate start and completion times to customers, and maintain communication with customers and vendors to ensure smooth repairs.
  • Service Disruptions and Route Changes: Communicate any service disruptions and route changes due to down equipment to dispatch.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience working in a Safety & Compliance Department.
  • Education: Post-secondary diploma is preferred.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience as a Service Writer is an asset.
  • Report Generation: Ability to generate simple reports using basic functions in software and/or writing basic queries.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of DOT regulations.
  • Truck Maintenance and Repair: Knowledge of truck maintenance and repair is required.
  • Availability: Availability to work either a Saturday or Sunday as part of your regular weekly schedule is required.
