About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Metal Locker Assembler to join our team at Apple Display Products Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling high-quality metal lockers and furniture components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Installation: Assemble wooden or metal furniture and fixture parts to form subassemblies and complete articles, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
  • Quality Control: Inspect furniture and fixture subassemblies and finished products for conformance to quality standards, identifying and addressing any defects or issues.
  • Hardware Installation: Install hardware on furniture and fixtures, ensuring secure and proper attachment.
  • Minor Repairs: Perform minor repairs to furniture, restoring it to its original condition.
  • Lock Installation: Install locks on metal lockers and other furniture components, ensuring secure and efficient operation.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Site Environment: Our production facility is a fast-paced, dynamic environment with noisy conditions and confined spaces.
  • Physical Demands: This role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with the ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and perform repetitive tasks.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Personal Qualities: Organized, reliable, and a team player with excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
Working Conditions
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
