Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant Apprentice to join our team at SEA MAR Community Health Centers. As a Medical Assistant Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing community health organization, providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient care and administrative tasks
  • Perform various clinical and administrative duties, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining accurate medical records
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
