Job Summary

The Big Playhouse seeks an experienced Lead Child Development Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time position with an estimated salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year.

About The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. You will lead activities, teach songs, and take children on outings to local points of interest. Your expertise will also help encourage creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote the growth and development of children
  • Lead activities and provide educational experiences for children
  • Encourage creativity through various forms of expression
  • Guide children in developing good habits and practices
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children
Requirements
  • Educational background in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Experience working with young children, preferably in a childcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
