Job Title: Lead Housekeeper

Horizon North is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Housekeeper to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and quality of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and supervise housekeeping teams to maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Work closely with the front desk associates to ensure seamless communication and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
  • Collaborate with the management team to assign daily workloads and ensure fair distribution of tasks.
  • Prepare necessary materials and equipment for housekeeping teams, including clipboards and keys.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to housekeeping staff to enhance their performance and skills.
  • Conduct daily FTQ audits to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Assist with other tasks as assigned by the Housekeeping and Lodge Manager.
Qualifications:
  • Previous supervisory experience in a housekeeping or custodial role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with staff and management.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Basic mathematics knowledge and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer service skills to provide excellent service to our guests.

This role requires physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing. Uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
