About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and inspect the work of assigned housekeeping staff to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Assist with scheduling and room assignments to ensure that all areas are properly covered.
  • Monitor performance and provide feedback to staff to help them improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure that all housekeeping staff have the necessary tools and equipment to perform their duties efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect all assigned areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Assist with the ordering and receiving of housekeeping supplies and linen to ensure that we have adequate stock levels.
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure that all guest requests are met and that all staff are working together to achieve our goals.
  • Perform other duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of the housekeeping department.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years of housekeeping experience, preferably in a hotel of similar size and complexity.
  • Proven supervisory experience and skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items, bend, stoop, and kneel as required.
