Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

At Barburrito, we are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demand
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring high-quality food and excellent customer service
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork
  • Monitor inventory levels, estimating ingredient and supply requirements to minimize waste and optimize efficiency
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure food and service meet our high standards
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business improvement
  • Prepare detailed food order summaries for our chef, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration
  • Supervise and inspect the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring timely and efficient service
  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service or hospitality role
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
