Early Childhood Educator Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Guiding Minds Montessori Inc. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and supporting their development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist early childhood educators in implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Support early childhood educators or supervisors in maintaining accurate records.
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, singing, and crafting.
  • Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
Requirements:
  • Emergency child care first aid and CPR certification.
  • Criminal record check and Child Abuse Registry check.
  • Own transportation.
  • Ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Punctuality, dependability, reliability, and team player skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in early childhood education.
