Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer to join our Moderation team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining features that enable moderators to create and grow meaningful communities.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new features from end-to-end, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.
  • Contribute to the development of a modern user experience for accessing content and communities on Reddit.
  • Partner with design and product teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of our users.
  • Work on the technical foundation for future features and experiences, ensuring scalability and performance.
  • Focus on frontend development, leveraging your expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and relevant frameworks.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in web application development using JavaScript, TypeScript, or other relevant languages.
  • Experience with front-end web frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
  • Deep understanding of software engineering best practices, including unit testing, code reviews, and design documentation.
  • Passion for developing scalable, well-designed software that improves people's lives globally.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams in a fully remote environment.
