Physiotherapy Resident

The Physiotherapy Resident is a key member of our rehabilitation team, responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments, pain, or disabilities. This role requires a strong foundation in physiotherapy principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or entry-level master's program in Physiotherapy from an accredited university and be a member of the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists. They will also possess strong computer skills, including statistics input, word processing, and Outlook, as well as annual Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation certification and WHMIS training and certification.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about providing high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of physiotherapy principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills, including statistics input, word processing, and Outlook
- Annual Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation certification
- WHMIS training and certification
- Additional courses or education in specialized areas or practices, such as cardio-respiratory techniques, acupuncture, stroke rehabilitation, manual therapy, balance training, etc.
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
- Full-time Long Assignment, 100% FTE; 75 hours biweekly
- Approximately 12 months
- Shifts include days and some weekends
- Travel to various sites may be required
$33.97 Hourly
