We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at 1338314 B.C. LTD. as a Handyman. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, repairs, and upkeep of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs; operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt; empty trash cans and other waste containers.
- Repairs and Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems; contact tradespersons for major repairs.
- Facilities Management: Show apartments and offices to prospective tenants; move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies; perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
- Groundskeeping: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens; clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
This is a physically demanding role that requires working in various locations, including construction sites, and in all weather conditions. You will be expected to work with minimal supervision and be able to lift heavy objects.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
